Support for SIMD/MXU was apparently made available for the NanoNote's CPU within MPlayer and the GNU Toolchain. Various projects exist to track the code drops made by the CPU vendor:

  • mplayer-jz47xx (openwrt-packages integration)
  • jz4740 appears to be an umbrella project for different repositories
    • jz4740_project references various "repository clones" that contain toolchain-related sources (see mxu_as for the modified assembler and MXU instruction details)
    • linux_jz4740 references various "repository clones" that contain sources for Linux, U-Boot and MPlayer, plus other software
