SIE Board is not currently supported in by Linux upstream neither uboot, plus have some differences from the Ben nanonote including the rootfs and hardware too, some cleanup and patch merge is need to be done in the sofware development side not counting future hardware new features.

Here a brief list of Sofware Development Tasks:

Some essential sofware used is SIE wich is not packaged for OpenWRT:

* xc3sprog (used to load bitstream to FPGA)
* sgen (used to generate different waveform signals)
* SIE sofwtare examples (ADC, GPIO, SRAM)

Fpga Bitstreams can be located as part of root_fs same case images and ogg files in the Ben. Same above apply for other files that go to /etc

No Keyboard support,, (is this a file in /etc ??) or kernel module?

Openwrt Config, SIE uses a modified version of the "config.minimal", so a config.sie is not a bad idea after all.

Linux

SIE developers want include more features in Linux kernel like i2c, is it posible this will differt from current from current upstream support of Ben in Linux, so why not consider give upstream support to SIE in Linux too?..

Uboot in sie have other modifications, so as there is a uboot ben package for Ben why not other for SIE?

Seems some all this features requestest can be achieved using an OpenWRT Subtarget like the current one for the Hanvon e-book
