LED-backlit LCD panel

It seems in most (all?) LED-backlit LCD panels the wires to drive the LED backlight are integrated into the main FPC connecting the panel to the mainboard (differences between LED-backlit and CCFL-backlit LCD displays).

CCFL-backlit LCD panel

In a traditional CCFL-backlit LCD panel, the backlight wires are not included in the main FPC, instead there are separate wires to power the backlight, usually of pair of 2 wires, sometimes also multiple pairs, up to 4.
