AVT2 Waveforms

Here we describe avt2 board which runs in Linux version, those measurements are activated by software or hardware itself to decide its waveform; Each has its description; although this file is trying to explain how Ben can work by porting critical gpio's status, but also this can be faced as identical behaviour for avt2 reference board.

Label descriptions:

  • ch1 or ch2: what signal or net of schematic is measured
  • trigger duration: those two signals are measured by using trigger ch1 or ch2, and explain that what its original status or specified status in advance
  • description: describes signals' behaviour

Measurement Equipment: Those waveforms are measured by Tektronix TDS1012

AVT2 Waveform #1
  • ch1: pin 3 (D) of Q3 TM2302FN
  • ch2: pin 1 of U5 SE9016
  • trigger duration: measuring during put battery cell (0V) enter, the usb pwr cable is plugged in advance
  • description: once ch2's signal is chaning from HIGH to LOW, the RED LED will light.Notice that at this transit meanwhile the Q3 is close due to PW_ON_N (0V), so the charging resistor will be only R15. Please ref. to waveform file "avt2_2.jpg"



AVT2 Waveform #2
  • ch1: PWR_ON_N / pin 125 of of jz4720
  • ch2: pin 1 of U5 SE9016
  • trigger duration: measuring during put battery cell (0V) enter, the usb pwr cable is plugged in advance
  • description: once ch2's signal is chaning from HIGH to LOW, the RED LED will light.Notice that at this transit meanwhile the Q3 is close due to PW_ON_N (0V), so the charging resistor will be only R15.

  • ch1: CHARGE_N / GPC27 of jz4720
  • ch2: pin 1 of U5 SE9016
  • trigger duration: measuring during put battery cell (0V) enter, the usb pwr cable is plugged in advance
  • description: once ch2's signal is chaning from HIGH to LOW, the RED LED will light.



AVT2 Waveform #4
  • description: measure ch1 during put battery cell (0V) enter, the usb pwr cable plugging in advance



AVT2 Waveform #5
  • description: measure VBAT in AC mode during there's no battery cell (0V) enter, the usb pwr cable plugging in advance



AVT2 Waveform #6
  • description: measure VBAT in DC mode during there's no battery cell (0V) enter, the usb pwr cable plugging in advance
