General Information
Gmenu2x is simple program launcher, originally developed for the GP2X handheld. As the GP2X is a gaming platform with only a few special-purpose keys, the key bindings which are used on the NanoNote are currently a little unusual. The documentation for the original Gmenu2X is available here.
Adding Menu files
If you want an icon of an application shows up in Gmenu2x GUI, which is not yet added, you can create a menu file that looks like this:
title=myApp icon=skin:icons/utilities-terminal.png exec=/usr/bin/myApp wrapper=true
You need to put this file in the /usr/share/gmenu2x/sections/(name_of_the_section)/ folder.
Where (name_of_the_section) is the tab, e.g. applications, where you want the icon to appear. These menu files have no extension in their names, so the above menu file example can be called myApp
