Q: How do I get smaller console fonts?

A: From

1. "make kernel_menuconfig" → Device Drivers → Graphics support → Console display driver support
2. "make menuconfig" → Base system → busybox → Configuration → Console Utilities → loadfont and use "loadfont" to change the console font.

Fonts in pcf format can be found in Linux Console Tools.
