lekernelyou'll love this ;)14:11
wpwrakOSI ... Oh, Such Idiots ?14:16
larscwell trademark laws are quite clear, if you don't defend your trademark you loose its rights14:19
wpwrakbut "to defend" doesn't have to mean a protracted battle14:26
larschave you read the article14:28
larsc?14:28
larscthe headline is quite sensational14:29
wpwrakwell, that they use friendly terms to describe the conflict makes any less a conflict14:31
larsc"The discussions are ongoing and it's unhelpful to treat this as a conflict; neither OSI's board nor -- as far as I have been told -- OSHWA's board do," Phipps said in an e-mail.14:32
wpwraknothing like publicly professing your love for peace and desire to find common ground before (and after) a little boming run on the enemies cities :)14:32
wpwraksee above :)14:33
larscand it was OSHWA who approached OSI and not the other way around14:33
wpwrakthey probably just wanted to do this poilitely and didn't expect OSI to see this as an opportunity to stake a claim14:34
AlarmI have an error in compiling Flickernoise http://pastebin.com/GwW3vcyf15:10
lekernel_Alarm: make sure you have all wpwrak's quilt patches15:12
lekernel_and this one in particular http://projects.qi-hardware.com/index.php/p/wernermisc/source/tree/b6b61b1/m1/patches/rtems/export-shell-fns.patch15:12
lekernel_you can also send a mail to the RTEMS people so that they fix the problem... which I reported months ago... https://www.rtems.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=203015:13
wpwrakAlarm: see also http://projects.qi-hardware.com/index.php/p/wernermisc/source/tree/b6b61b1/m1/patches/README  (but replace cvs with git now)16:53
wpwrakAlarm: this one has more details: http://projects.qi-hardware.com/index.php/p/wernermisc/source/tree/b6b61b1/m1/BUILD-CHEAT-SHEET16:57
wpwrak(note: i haven't built the M1 system in a while, so some things may have changed)16:58

Underbyteneat17:14
Underbyteincidentally, i've got a licensing question for the class. Apparently someone took the ProjectM Project (openGL port of Milkdrop) and made it into an iOS app. ProjectM supposedly is LGPL, but my big question is Doesn't the iOS app creator need to post his source?17:15
