nicksydneywpwrak: cool video for UI idea for anelok https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLQtqTpZBOU :)01:25
wpwrakhmm, nice idea. but doesn't look very convenient. also, i shiver at the thought of all the mechanical issues this would create01:39

nicksydneywpwrak: when selecting crystal (20Mhz) does it make any difference if choosing between this package http://au.element14.com/raltron/as-20-000-18smdt/crystal-20m-18pf-cl-hc49-4h/dp/1611752 and this one http://au.element14.com/abracon/abmm2-20-000mhze2-t/crystal-20mhz-18pf-smd/dp/794095603:15
nicksydneyjust realised the inductor footprint i'm using is different than what it supposed to be ..thanks to this youtube video i just realised https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZzhvUyjoI403:47
nicksydneyahhh....realised i was looking at the qi footprint doc partially didn't realised that the footprint supposed to be a separate one and i was some others ..duh !03:50
wpwrak(xtal) they look pretty similar. the large one is less precise than the small one, though. whether this matters depends on your application. of course, there's the size difference. and the large one is probably easier to solder.05:05
nicksydneyok cool...i like the small packaging but yes soldering will be a challenge for someone like myself....will stick with the big package for now and will move to smaller packaging once the whole thing works05:33
nicksydneywpwrak: this is the project I'm working on https://github.com/nanikjava/RA8875 .. it's a TFT board for now for 4.3,5 and 7 inch ... once this work will integrate with an mp3 + android app :)05:34
nicksydneyit uses the RA8875 IC to drive the TFT ... at the moment i'm making the schematics for the power supply as i've got the sample from TI (TPS61040) 05:35
